Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how ClipMelody handles refunds for credit packs and subscriptions.
You only pay for a match
A credit is used only when ClipMelody finds a song. A recognition that finds nothing, fails, or can't reach the recognition service never uses a credit, so there is nothing to refund for those.
Wrong matches
If a match is clearly wrong, send us the result link at hello@clipmelody.com. If we agree, we'll return the credit.
Credit packs
Unused credits from a pack bought by mistake can be refunded if you ask within 14 days of purchase. Credits that have already been used, or that have expired, are not refundable.
If credits were not delivered because of a technical or billing error, contact us and we'll either restore the credits or refund the charge.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
We consider refund requests for accidental renewals when you contact us within 7 days of the renewal and haven't used the renewed credits.
How to request a refund
Email hello@clipmelody.com with:
- The email address on your account.
- The order or payment identifier, or the date and amount of the charge.
- A brief explanation.
We may ask for additional information to verify the request and prevent fraud.
Abuse and chargebacks
We may deny refund requests that appear fraudulent, abusive, or related to violations of our Terms of Service. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension.
Legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of purchase generally applies to that purchase unless applicable law requires otherwise.
